BloodSuckers

I sold my house. I gave SB 3 months notice on my bond, and yet I hear today that my settlement figure is more, much more than my outstanding balance.

3 months this 3 months that, 3 months interest, blah, blah, blah. Whats the point of giving 3 months notice then?

This is probably legal and above board, it just smells really bad. Wonder how many actuaries it took to dream this one up.

Settle a car and you usually pay slightly less than the outstanding balance. Same on a personal loan. But not on a homeloan - from Standard Bank anyway. SB has effectively wiped out about 3 or 4 years of mortgage payments with this, in my case anyway.

Really? For real?

Eish!!!
