Blocked accounts

My sons account was frozen just after he turned 16. I thought it was due to fica so I collected him from Pretoria and drove through to Benoni where i live. Got all the necessary documents and went to the bank where i waited over an hour to get help. Only to find out that the account was frozen due to them wanting an ID book. His ID number was on the birth certificate supp**** - not good enough for them. The week after my ex-wife took him to Std Bank in Pretoria with his ID book. Now they didn't need that but wanted his fica documents. Standard Bank has even stopped the debit order going into his account. Sorry my Son. No pocket money for you thanks to Standard Banks inefficiency.
