Big Debit Order 31 December
On the 31 December @ 9 pm . Standard bank debited me an amount of R12770.04 from my absa cheque account . Std bank has taken all my money and now i have nothing left for the month . I understand the payment was for my credit card however surely they could of advised me on the amount to pay in advance and i would of made arrangements earlier in the month to pay . Now i am stuck with no money for the month . I am disgusted with the service and the way the bank operates and this is why we lose customers . Everybody is struggling but it seems that there is no empathy from banks

03 Jan 2022, 16:08I have now received a response stating that i need to contact collections . This is really absurd . I have to waste my call due to the incompetence of notifying me early so that i could make payments . The bank needs to call me ... i am not going to contact them . If i was informed earlier i would utizlized my 13th cheque to pay the balance owing . This has now been handed over to collections and now is affecting my credit profile . This could of been avoided !! Again having to deal with Standard Bank is a nightmare
