Bank Teller needs a machine to tell her what bank note it is.

So Akisha (not sure how her name is spelled) at Standard Bank Brandwag in Bloemfontein reckons that she needs a machine to tell her whether a note is a R10 note or not... maybe she's colour blind, or doesn't know 10. Someone paid, amongst other notes, a bank note with the edges around it cut off, to our school. I worked as a bank teller many years ago, and we were trained on how to know when a damaged bank note is still valid or not. This particular note is still fully intact and only has a small part of its edges around it cut off. Such a note should be removed from circulation, and if it can't be done via a bank, who can do it? That note still has its full value, but Akisha feels that because her little teller machine kicks it out it's not worth anything. If she had placed it under a UV light she would have seen that it is a geniune note, and could have taken it to get it out of circulation.
