Bank statements

Id like to file a complaint!

Every year I struggle with getting my years bank statements from Standard Bank, so that I can claim back my tax return. As a working class citizen, this is an important claim that is my right as a South African.

Firstly, why am I not able to download as many archived bank statements as I please, considering I pay monthly fees to Standard Bank. It should be free and easily accessible to download at any time I feel like. To understand that my bank will make me pay an obscene amount to print these statements, which is a hazard to our ozone layer by the number of trees you use to print aswell as a complete waste of money, makes me really want to change to another bank.

Why would I stay with Standard Bank when every single other bank offers free downloadable statements online, aswell as better rates.
