Bank statement displaying ****en surname
Good day

I am in a process of buying a house. I had Standard Bank listing me as owing them, even though I have paid off the account in June 2015 already. So I requested a paid up letter from them, for which I was sent emails to call this number or call that number even after I was told my query was sent through to the attorneys. Well, I got the letter just now in my Inbox, but that is 3 months too late on my house buying process!

Now I had to submit a bank statement of 3 months, so I went to Hillcrest Standard bank, printed the bank statement from the AutoPlus machine and went into the bank to request a bank stamp. The lady at Enquiries realised that the surnames were not the same!

Marriage surname is captured, but when the bank statement is printed - the ****en surname is printed! Between Enquiries and waiting to be assisted by one of the people behind the desks at Standard Bank, the lady tells me she needs to log a call with HelpDesk to get them to fix this and she does not know how long this will take to be resolved! \Changed information like surnames has not been pulling through at some time"she said. I feel so traumatised by Standard bank. Statement took me +/- 50 mins!!"""
