Bad service , laws flawed

I had an credit card with std bank for 9 years and the debit order has been in place ever since from the 20th p.m . On the 17th Jan 2019 they decided to debit me for Jan instalment which was so surprising because that has never happened. As a bank employee they knew they had to debit on the same day whether weekends or not. Obviously the debit order returned unpaid bcoz there was no sufficient funds. the 17th of Jan was on Thursday.

Now my account has updated @ the credit bureau bcoz of their action and that has affected my cheque account.

I have also called their contact centre for a statement they told me thatmy balance is over R17000 and to my surprise I've not been using that account for over 16 months even collected the new card when it was issued. Upon checking their statement the are descriptions of purchases and card fee. Which purchases are that and what card is it because I don't have a card with me.
