BAD Service from Teller With No Name Tag

<p>Good day,</p> <p> </p> <p>I went to a Standard branch in Midrand at the Boulders to verify my FICA details and was assisted by Babalwa Mhlembi. I produced my ID and an account letter from African Bank. She then said to me she can’t accept the letter that I submitted to her because I have marked out the account balances on the letter. I then told her that on the SMS that I received it states that I must submit my ID and Proof of Residence, not proof of income or my balances. I then asked her what is the actual reason for all this and she showed me on her screen that my address was change. Yes I could see that the address that appears on the system is my previous address that I used about ten years ago. But when I opened my account I used the current address that even appears on my Home loan, she then checked on her system and assured me that I do not have a home loan with Standard Bank, which was a shock to me. I asked her for a terminal where I can logon and give her my home loan account that has my current address as well and then she referred me to someone else. In any case I did logon to the Internet Terminal and managed to get the Home Loan Account number for her, Still she could not tell me who changed my address and when.</p> <p> </p> <p>After 11min, prior to the 21 min that I have already spend in that branch, she could not assist me and I decided t leave. She did not have her name tag on, I had to ask for her name and surname.
