Bad service from Standard Bank

On 22 December 2016 I transferred R5 550.00 from my Standard Bank Account into Pretty T Mncube's ABSA Account ********** 953, Code 632005 as a deposit to a Flat, in Mowbray, Cape Town. I realised this was a ****, when I got to the flats to view. I immediately informed Std Bank's Prestige Division. They advised me to get an affidavit, with a Case number. I then went to the Police to get the case number. Detective Percy Keyser told me that since I could not show a withdrawal, there is no crime committed, hence no Case number, but I can still write an Affidavit, which I submitted to the Std Bank on Saturday 23 Dec 2016. I also went to ABSA, and they confirmed that the R5 550.00 is in Pretty's account, and the account has been frozen from Std Bank's Divisions instruction. This was followed by an SMS from Standard Bank saying my "Service request number ********** 446 is now open". I then received a call from a Ms Siphokazi Ngubeni from Standard Bank who told me that they cannot proceed with my case without the case number. She ignored my explanation in this regard, and told me the case will be closed. This, she followed with two emails, saying the same thing. I then made an appointment to see my Prestige Bank Consultant at Standard Bank, Claremont, Cape Town, Ms Gouwa Halford on the 4th January 2017. She made me complete a "Payment recall Letter", which she said it is not a guarantee that I will receive my money back, let alone paying R250.00 for this service and ABSA saying they are putting Pretty's Account on hold.
