Bad Service from a Standard bank employee

So I opened an account with Standard Bank through a great presentation that was done at my work ,I did all the paper work with those guys and I was told that I was going to receive a notification in a few days to collect my cheque card ,I received the sms within a few days and I went to standard bank Mowbray branch in Cape Town to collect my card .So I was in the queue and the ladies were very nice to all the customers and they were all smiling ,one lady called the next customer and I went to her desk and she was all smiles until I took out my passport ,she just suddenly changed her face you would think she wanted to beat me ,she processed my account which took her almost 1 and half hours ,just for a card collection and scanning my documents ,she was so ****ed perhaps because I was a foreign national she did not even explain to me how I use the account or how it works , I opened that account so I could change my salary account to standard bank but the service I got from that lady made me think twice and up until today I have never used that account and its just a matter of days before I go back to close it as it is just accumulating bank charges when I don't have any intentions of using it anymore .I needed a lot of things that had been presented to me ,including the taxfree account and the Ucount rewards program but I could not even bring myself to ask as the lady looked like she wanted to slap me . Never will I use that standard bank account I will stick to my FNB .In this day that we are living and during this very xenophobic period in SA , I felt very threatened ,now I get the reason why banks are retrenching their employees and opting to use machines ,In my line of work customer satisfaction and rapport building are the core values to lay the groundwork for meaningful, authentic, and rewarding relationships with customers
