Bad Service

In December 2021 i went to standard bank Clearwater mall to apply gor a student loan for my niece who recently became an orphan. I was assisted by Adri Jordaan who assured us thst everything was approved pending my work confirmation of employment which she delayed to confirm.She called me in January 2022 asking if my employer could rather send a letter of confirmation, which she received. I was shocked to then get a call from her that we eould not get funding because the process closed in December however she did not notify us before and proceeded to still request my employment letter in January. I feel she is very inconsiderate and seemed to not care that my niece is now stranded after we thought everything was approved. She has now even refused to send us a letter stating that the application was unsuccessful which could also help us plead to the university to allow my niece to register. Given tge history of oppression of the black child in SA it is very disappointing that your organization can make promises that they cant keep knowing that my niece will nit be able to further her studies and she will then become a statstic like a lot of black children out there.
