Bad experience with standard bank

My name is Ayanda Khumalo, from Johannesburg I going through a very bad experience with standard bank, I had an account with them back 14 years ago and I have very difficult time in 2011 I was in employed for a very long time now I m dealing with Debt councilor who told me to request a letter from them because i shows that I had debt with them that I don't remember also because of time , they said it should a prescription letter because of the years all debt after 3 years they get written off , when I called standard bank they told me it was an overdraft for cheque account which amount to R41000.00 and I asked them why it's was not prescribed it took a month of back to back emails and calls, just yesterday they told me that they sold the account to Nimble attorneys , so they wrote it off and sold it to the attorneys so I call the attorneys and we made an agreement of paying the debt that is supposed to subscribed , I feel ****** according to credit act, please be careful I'm really in a situation all other debt were subscribed only standard bank that is holding me up for my name to be free of Debt thank you.
