Bad credit name due to uncompetant workers

Last year i paid my account up in full (settled). From that day i'm listed as a bad credit provider due to account payments not done. Since then i phoned the one after the other at the bank and no one can tell me what is going on. I went to nearest branch and the lady assist me just to find out the complaint was send to the wrong department she assured me that the matter will be fixed and my name will be cleared.Today i did a credit check and there standard bank listed my status as written off due to no payment and that my name will show for two years now. On the phone with standard bank the lady said that the query i have will take seven days again.... it is almost a year now and I'm getting married with a bad credit record due to employees that does not want to help their customers. I'm really tired of the bank putting the blame on me. I have a letter from the attorney that says i did pay the account in full. I do know that I'm not the only one struggling with them.... how much off this ******* can we take.... thank heavens i left the bank.
