Await bank card for two weeks

Two and a half weeks ago, i closed my old cheque account and opened a new cheque account with Standard bank. I have been waiting for two weeks to get a cheque card, as I dont have a bank card to use at the moment in order to make purchases. The consultant failed to close the query, she would not provide feedback on the status of the query. One had to constantly follow up with her to check progress and even went to the branch to find out when will I be getting a bank card. I was told to wait for another 7 days which will make it 3 weeks waitimg for a bank card. This is a very poor administrative process from Standard Bank, I find it very disappointing considering that with FNB it only takes 3 days to get a cheque card. As a prestige customer of Std Bank, am very disappointed and I will be moving my account to another bank where clients are taken serious. Thanks
