I am extremely disappointed in the manner Standard Bank is handling our home loan application.

We supp**** the necessary documents to the attorneys YOU appointed on 29/06/2015. Only on 16/07/2015 they realized you made a spelling mistake on one of the applicants names. We had phone several times. It took the home loans department NINE working days from the 16th of July to correct their spelling mistake. The corrected documents have been received and signed and submitted to you again 31/07/2015. Still no waiting.

Our house has been sold. The buyers have filed their papers for registering the property 28/06/2015. We can only move in upon registration of our property. This cannot be done until you give confirmation to the attorneys.

RESULT:

We, your loyal clients since 2004 , have to:

PAY R8000 occupation rent to the buyers if we stay in our home
PAY R11000 occupation rent to the seller of our new home if we move in before registration

Your call centre could not care less. We are just a number.

YOUR MISTAKE IS CAUSING US MONEY! WIll Standard Bank provide food and clothing when we cannot afford it because of YOUR mistake?? We DO NOT have the funds for this expense.
