Atrocious service
Make that no stars. In July 2023, I approach Standard Bank to make an arrangement to pay off the debt on my wife's credit card. I asked the bank to consolidate the outstanding amount into a single facility that I would pay off monthly. The bank was completely unhelpful and has done nothing. The matter was handed over to their debt collector MacRoberts who were equally obstructive. We have still not received acknowledgement from them of the documents requested to show that my wife is retired. They also have not acknowledged my correspondence regarding my initial request to the bank. The matter is now with an attorney. The service is atrocious. I'm hoping for a 1939-type run on banks again that drives them into non-existence.
