ATROCIOUS service
Absolutely ATROCIOUS service at the Home Loan dept. If you are considering using Standard Bank to finance your home loan - think twice. The level of incompetence is next level. I settled my bond account to the cent, resulting in a R0.00 balance. I called the Home Loan dept to request a settlement letter as I need to cancel my Credit Life policy. Lo and behold.......Einstein at the end of the line in no uncertain terms did serious calculations as to what my next installment would be.....R1000 odd per month. I kid you not. Now BASIC logic dictates that if there is a R0.00 balance why would I have to pay R1k odd per month??? With all his utter incompetence and oooo's and ahhh's (I could clearly hear this chap had no idea what he was talking about) my R102 airtime ran out. R102 wasted on incompetence.
