ATM Nonsense

Went to do an ATM cash deposit yesterday (have already complained before at the branch customer service, but I guess that issue is not important). Anyway.... if you try to make a cash deposit at a Standard Bank ATM the first character for the reference input cannot be a numerical value!!!!!!!!!! So I ended up standing in a teller queue to deposit the cash. Please fix this abnormality. I am not able to dictate the reference no when the company wants a set format! Thanks

Hello, I am not a customer of Standard Bank. My Body Corporate has an account with you for which I must pay my monthly Levy. I don't see why you'd need account details or ID numbers anyway to investigate this issue. Why don't you test it yourself? Thanks

I have sent an email to both Ameera and ComplaintResoultionCenter with an attachment. The content is as follows : Hello Ameera, Further to my previous email, I again today tried to pay my Body Corporate levies via your ATM with the same problem. I am unable to start the reference sequence with a digit '0' (zero). The only way I can get around this is to start it with a '.' (decimal point). I have attached the receipt from the ATM. The reference should be ' ********** 3002' and forced to precede it with a '.' otherwise it ignores the first two '00' and the reference ends up being ' ********** 02' The ATM I used was the 2nd one from the left outside the actual bank in Canal Walk (ATM No 4479) I have also previously tried to use the ATM to it's left (ie the very 1st one on the left) - with the same problem. My wife also complained inside the branch at the service desk - afraid to so much interest in assisting other than saying it should work. Please fix this problem, as I'm frustrated at standing in a queue of at least 10 clients or more for a teller. Many thanks Garry
