ATM Jammed, deposit lost

Hello Peter,<br> <br> On the 2nd May 2015, i tried to deposit R3000 to my sister's Std Bank account via atm cash deposit in Mamelodi, PTA. The ATM jammed and the money was not transfered. I went back to the branch the following day and logged a request for a refund. After 4 weeks without any feedback , i went back to the branch and was told by the teller that my issue was resolved and that i was not getting anything. I then asked for a branch manager who also said the same thing. When i threatened to call head office, he then looked on the \system"and said that only R200 was excess funds.<br> <br> I am surprised by this. What controls are in place at the Mamelodi Branch to ensure that excess funds from the ATM are properly declared as unallocated deposits? If i dont get my R3000 back"
