ATM Card Machine *****. My R6 500 is gone 💔
I am so disappointed and hurt by a bank I have trusted for so many years. I got *****ed on my card on the 5th of May 2024 and they made away with about R6 500 which was the last money I had between myself and starvation. The bank called me back today after 9 whole days of "investigation" to let me know that they will not be refunding my money 'because I blocked the card a few mins too late'. Mind you this incident happens at 9:30-9:31 and I blocked the card 15mins later then they tell me they will not refund because of this. They did not check footage, they did not check whether the machine was tampered with or where my card ended up. What a hurtful experience and the fact that I have to struggle for the rest of this month and go into debt because of this hurts even worse. I am switching banks after this and would NOT recommend anyone use Standard bank.
