Assumptions Assumptions

I app**** for a re-advance on my home loan that has been with Standard Bank for ever from R462k back to R505k loan amount, valuation came back R650k, but was declined because there is multiple tenants in the house and standard bank prefers to have a single family in a home.
1. Hoe can regulate who I allow to live in my house with me?
2. where is your proof that they are tenants and not family that I am helping out?

Maybe asking questions before making assumptions would go a long way. yes the house is not in the best condition, hence me asking for the funds to paint and make a few improvements, I recently used my own funds to paint the house outside and the roof.
