Application for student loans
My daughter accompanied by myself made an application on line at the Westgate branch on 24 Jan 2015. The accompanying documents were faxed by a consultant and he provided proof to us. Three days after I made follow up to confirm receipt of the faxed documents. It was confirmed that the documents were received. Same day I received an email that documents were outstanding. Thereafter the documents were faxed and emailed several times. On further enquiry at the student loans it was twice confirmed to me that the documents attached to the application were not ours. On the second week of re-faxing and re-emailing my daughter received an email which said the application was not approved due to bad credit record. As surety I checked my credit record which showed a \good"record. In that same Second week std bank approved an increase of my RCP. I wonder which report was used for the RCP and which one for the student loan. With the assistance of STD bank employees I sent the credit record to Students loans to appeal their decision because I am of the opinion that a wrong credit report was used as the documents they attached were not ours. its now almost a month and no communication. WHY?"""
