application declined due to 'bad credit' - Check your facts.

I am trying to secure a 2nd home loan from Standard Bank where my primary one is. I was declined due to me having a bad credit score.

The application was meant to be sent to arbitration but was instead cancelled. I have sent another consultant the two full credit reports from Experian and Compuscan, my employer, showing that I have a fantastic low risk score. She has apparently sent it to arbitration but I have no confirmation of such.

Insuating that I have a bad credit score is insulting to say the least. Standard Bank needs to check their facts on their clients.

I have moved my account from Nedbank Relationship banking to Standard Bank Prestige but this has meant squat in my opinion. My wife is in the process of opening her Prestige account but I have told her to stop.

The worst is not having someone appropriate to speak to and having to call constantly to hear what is going on.

Application number is: **********
