Appalled by Standard Bank
Standard Bank has really outdone itself in its latest attempt to communicate with clients; namely through its “first monthly newsletter”, e-mailed on 9 August 2020.
My late grandmother, who was your client, passed away in October 2015. All her Standard Bank accounts were closed in November 2015, when you received her death certificate.
However, nearly 5 years later, Standard Bank suddenly decided that the time is right to send a newsletter addressed to my late grandmother. This is highly insensitive on your part.
Is somebody at Standard Bank trying to impress their boss by bulking up the newsletter mailing list with long-deceased clients?
I demand written confirmation that my late grandmother’s details have been removed from all your mailing lists.
