Can someone at standard bank please investigate this complaint ans no I'm not going to waist my airtime to call your customer service team. I have motorvehicle finance with standard bank for just over 2 yes now. Recently I've received a request via sms to sent a copy of my proof of cover letter for my car insurance. Took a few days to receive as insurer took their sweet time to respond to emails. I finally email my copy and received a response that they can't find any details "Standard Bank Financial Services account number or ID number of the financed vehicle as we cannot pick up any details with the id number provided." So now I'm left wondering, how do you email me requesting for my proof of cover letter but do not have my vehicle finance details. Today 15 July 202q I received another text message stating to provide the same details within 10 days. This is the third sms now. I'm done with these ****s. Please verify or in investigate if these sms and request are legitimately being sent by my bank. "Standard Bank: Dear Mr Napoleon, in terms of your finance agreement, please fax or email proof of your vehicle insurance (not older than 1 month) to *** or email to *** within the next 10 business days, or call us on ***. Std call rates apply."
