An overdraft account paid but not closed

Good day my name is Lerato Mosito I'm not happy about the service I received from standard and Macrobert attorneys I had cheque account and I was owing overdraft and I had been paying this account through the Macrobert attorneys and they called me and offered me the 40%discount and I paid this in February 2023 and I requested to have this account closed. The account was never closed and it kept on accumulating fees and when I went to Northgate branch I meet a nice consultation wgo tried tp help and it looks like she was send from pillar to post and still this account was never closed its still accumulating fees. So what was the point of being offended 40% and I paid but now I'm send to other attorneys by Standard. I'm really upset with Standard bank and Macrobert attorneys.
