Allocated payments not allocated
We missed our debit order for 1 Oct 2015.
We made 2 separate payments:
1: 3 Oct 2015 = R7000
2: 9 Oct 2015 = R4530
Unfortunately, we paid the 1st payment into the wrong bond account. However, we sent through confirmations of payments and have received correspondence back from Standard Bank confirming that the R7000 paid into the wrong account, has been allocated to the right account. (from Natacha Gouws at Exception Handling)
Yet, Standard Bank calls us every day about our account that is in arrears.
I have logged a complaint, no response so far.
After another phone call this morning, I am told that is not possible to make a transfer between accounts. I need to speak to the Credit Rehabilitation Department. The first person is half asleep, so I called again. Only to be cut off (for the umpteenth time, mind you!!)
We made our payments. Granted into the wrong account, but still an account ON OUR NAME.
AND Standard Bank confirmed receipt of the money and allocation to the correct account.
WHY is out account then still in arrears?
