Alleged Account Debt and Handover

At the end of February I got a call from DMC stating that Standard Bank had handed me over for an outstanding payment on my personal loan.<br> Please afford me a moment to explain that midyear 2014 I tried to pay off all my outstanding debts with Std Bank and close all my accounts.<br> <br> I then get call telling me my account was handed over to DMC 6 months ago. It took them 6 months to make contact. I then requested a statement for the account to be told they could not provide me one.<br> I started mailing Thulani at Std Bank (Contact for social media complaints) and requested that they please confirm the situation and outstanding amount before I proceed with anything. I was promised an answer by COB yesterday after I sent numerous mails and posted on Twitter.<br> <br> My request is not difficult.<br> - who is DMC?<br> - when was this accoint handed over?<br> - why did it take 6 months to contact me?<br> - where is my statement?<br> <br> I am beyond annoyed as DMC make a habit of calling constantly now for a resolve when I copied them into my mail to Std Bank when it took them months to make contact with me.<br> <br> I am so grateful I closed my accounts with this bank.
