Airtime Refund

I bought an airtime of R199 to recharge my 3G modem, unfortunately, I did not change the service provider from Cell C, which is the default on their mobile app to Telkom. I called the customer care and I was informed that the transaction cannot be reversed because it has been paid to cell c. Cell C will also not help refund the money. The most annoying fact is that the money is useless to everyone as the number belongs to Telkom and not Cell C. There should be a system in place to check that the number and service provider match before allowing the transaction to go through and standard bank should do more to protect their customers. I was still charged the R 1.10 even though the payment didn't get to me and I had to make another transfer. This feels so wrong on many levels. Standard Bank, please look into this and give me back my money.
