After Effects of Standard Bank Listing

This is more of a feed back rather than a complain, to make other customers aware that whats gonna happen should their relationship with standard bank get sloppy.. I had a credit card with standard bank which i got offered around 2008 or 9, at 23 years old on my first job i remember a lady telling me about the benefits of a credit card, without even educating me about usage of funds, if i was still not on student achiever account by then it changed possibly when i received the credit card..

So when things got sloppy, like possibly how theyv went with 95% of the people, due to the economic changes, challenges, employment rates and all.. I started experiencing financial strain, and could not pay the credit card.. Well that fair for them to demand their money.. Standard bank after a long time of non-payment from the 2009s, only in 2015 they decided to sell my account to DMC account, which since i was not employed, dmc kept the account and went all silent until only now when i got a piece job, demanding 15k from me which my credit card limit was 10k, so interest went on and on between them and standard bank. Suddenly DMC claims that i have made a R50 payment towards the account in 2018 to activate it, and everytime i call standard bank im told that there is nothing they can do as the account is sold

Now, my advice is that, Our people should now start being aware off all the ins and out of what would happen should you as the consumer experience financial constrain.. Well, your bank “standardbank” will throw you to the wolves and never look at you again.. Now since your favour is done with them, you no longer mean anything possible with them.. So its important to take note that, should you with to have a bigger project, buy a house or a car, take into thoughts that should something go wrong, this bank is gonna throw you to DMC collection, and the DMC collection agency is amongst the worst and more harrasing collectors you can ever had

I urge consumers to go read all the reviews of DMC amd i can tell you, you wouldnt wanna put your future self in their books, but well, should you experience hardships as we all do now, Standardbank will throw you in their arms. And with the DMC, its a hole that you will never recover from..

I urge consumers to go through DMC complains, you will see how this company has harrassed and cut of dreams of many south africans...

Standard bank might be friendly towards you, but they have chosen the worst partner to do business with..

I urge all of you to do a research of companies associated with banks before u experience what most of the consumers endure.. DMC does not even attend to your quiries, should they appear on your ITC, ull take them to your grave..
