Accounts not safe with Standard bank

A significant amount went off my Standard bank credit card at the end of October.I went in to the Trade Route branch and was told that I need to contact the call center to have the amount reversed. When I called in I was told to submit an e-mail.I did as required and when I called in 2 days later to follow up I was told that the money had been paid and nothing could be done.I expressed my views to the consultant and supervisor as I had not authorized the payment and the payment had exceeded my card limit by over R1000.This was clearly no error on my side as Standard bank cannot allow such payments. They indicated that I open a ***** case .I received an SMS after 3 weeks requesting that I contact a number that the SMS indicated to provide further details.I tried the number on numerous occassions and it is clear that the number does not exist.I have received an SMS today requesting that I pay the exceeded amount -I will not respond to the SMS as Standard bank has messed up.People should not bank with such an *********** financial institution as ones account is not safe.
