Account taken to the lawyers

I closed my bank account last year and then they continued charging bank charges on my bank account and also for the debit orders which they say were bouncing however I was paying my accounts. My account was sent to the lawyers. I paid the amount into my account all over it. The bank did not communicate back to me or even tell me of the status of my account. I would be happy if I received communication back or they blacklisted me. When I go to the branch they tell me my account is being handled by the attorneys.
