On the 31st of January 2017 and 1st of February 2017 two transactions was put through on my account via Internet Banking. I only received nodifications of the transactions on the 2nd of February 2017.
These transactions amounted to approximately R10 000 and I reported them to Standard Bank immediately. I was informed that I will be kept up to date on the status of the investigations, and also that I will have a response within 2 - 3 working days.

I phoned Standard Bank to get an update on my case on the 13th of February 2017 after no feedback was received. I was informed that they attempted to contact me on the 3rd of February, and not a single time after that, to inform me that they need an affidavit in order to process the request with ABSA (where the money was transferred to).

I've supp**** the required information, and still have had NO feedback since.

This is exceptionally poor service and highly unprofessional. How is it possible that a financial institution, that regards itself as one of the top banking institutions in South Africa is allowed to get away with this kind of service?

If this is not resolved within the next couple of days I will be forced to take this matter to the ombudsman. Why does one have to resort to this kind of behavior in order to get the service which you PAY for.
