account closed summons received 3 years later

I received a summons from Dhaya Attorneys - on an account that was closed 3 years ago , I then responded to the attorney and Standbank with Paid up letters. <br> <br> Standard bank then responds and advise me that the account is not closed and the details linked to the account, belong to my Husband - WHO HAS NEVER EVER BEEN A CLIENT OF STANDARD BANK. i then receive a response to call the product area on *** for further assistance, as the records on the system indicate the application for debt review was terminated in September 2010. <br> <br> I have a paid up letter confirming that the account was paid on the 17October 2015 and closed on the 15 November 2015. to which a response was then given that the account is for my husband. <br> <br> we clearly see where the error is as Standard bank do not comply wit proper record keeping, My husband has never been you client and never will be, the account was on my name i paid it up it was closed now you want +- R9000.00 from me 3 years later.... not once in the period 2010 till todate has Standard bank ever bothered to contact me regard the aforesaid account, I get a call from Attorneys. i need this sorted the service is appalling....
