Account Closed-Handed Over

<p>on the 9th June 2012 i closed my cheque account with Standard Bank, and i had the letter but in the time of me moving house dont know what happend to the letter, now how many years down the line im getting sms and e-mail from a debt collector stating i owe standard bank about R11 000.00...i have contacted this debt collector and they are pushing me back to standard bank i contacted standard bank they are pushing me back to the debt collectors....</p> <p> </p> <p>Now i dont care how or who is going to sort this mess out but i dont want to be involved i want this account to be closed a letter to be sent to me and the same letter to be sent to this debt collectors because i owe nothing...</p> <p> </p> <p>this is the same thing that happends with the savings account i had with Standard bank that was never closed when i moved over to a cheque account.</p>
