Absolutely useless bank
I have a debit order that I have been refusing for awhile now that I have been reversing due to a ongoing dispute that I have with Standard Bank. All has been fine, however, all of a sudden Standard Bank is refusing to reverse the debit order, regardless of the amount of times it has been disputed.
Next step is to escalate this to the Banking Ombudsman as no one can seem to resolve this at Standard Bank

11 May 2021, 07:45Standard Bank as soon as this fiasco is resolved I'm closing all my facilities with Standard Bank, I'm tired of all the nonsense. I will be escalating this matter to the Ombud because I know that Standard Bank won't assist me.
