Absolutely Ridiculous

I went to Standard Bank to pay off my credit card and to close it. I owed an amount of R 327.00 and seeing that I do not bank with Standard Bank, I had to do a cash deposit. I was then told to contact the branch to close the account. I now find out that I need to pay an additional R 15.90, a cash deposit fee for the money I deposited into that account to close it. Now were is the logic in that and why did the teller not tell me that there is going to be a charge. Now, guess what, I need to go back to Standard Bank to pay the R 15.90 and let me guess again, another cash deposit fee will need to paid for this cash deposit. Absolutely absurd and ridiculous.
