Absolutely no help

I have went into the bank and asked for a recall to be done for money that was paid into a old suppiers account of which there business was closed years ago, only to be told by standardbank sorry absa says that there is insufficent funds in the account and that i have to go myslef to absa and recover the money by myself of which they charge a fee of R290 weather the recall is successful ot not,so for R290 a call is made to absa with a response from absa stating that there is insufficent funds in the account and thats the end of that..R290 down the drain.I had to personally contact my account to check on cpicc if this business is still registered and its not!so how can there still be an active bank account for this when the business name in which tha bank account is in is closed?Surely my money should then have gone into a holding account..Could the tps recall departement not do and actaul investigation and discover this?I am still R3777 out of pocket and have been a loyal client to standardbank for many years holding many accounts with this bank including my business account and bond for such pathetic service i am reciveiving from one of your department.My ref no is ********** 580 .the service request was made on a friday 27/102017 of which i recieved this reference number and the monday 30/10/2017 ,i receive a message stating the service request ********** 580 has been resolved..3 days later including the weekend.not much of an investiagtion if you ask me.Should the message not then have stated service reques unsuccessful?I really hope that yourslef as standardbank can assist me as a loyal customer in this matter ..
