Absolute no feedback from Standard Bank!
Absolute no feedback from Standard Bank!
Dear Standard Bank,
Seeing that you do not answer on any of our emails I have decided to provide the public with a review on the NO SERVICE received from Standard Bank.
My wife and I have a home loan with Standard Bank. We have immigrated to another country and have been trying to change our OTP settings to our new numbers / email addresses as we can't access our bank as the OTP is being sent to our old telephone numbers.
I have called the bank 3 times already and every time I speak to a representative of Standard Bank there has been absolutely no help from them. The only advice they gave me was to send an email to *** as they are the ONLY division of Standard Bank that can assist me changing the OTP. Apparently nobody at Standard Bank can assist me with my issue over the phone.
We have sent over 10 emails to that email address provided (and confirmed by the representatives) and just no feedback at all! Not even a read report to confirm that they have received our instruction.
Now Standard Bank.. please advice me how a client of yours can change his OTP settings if they are living abroad and can not be helped via the call center or email?
Thank you for the reply but again your representatives are not reading our clearly instructed emails:
After weeks of emails and phoning we finally received this reply:
"Kindly note that In order to get switch your OTP switched from sms to an existing email address on your account, we require that you to kindly contact our Customer Contact Centre on +***3.
You welcome to contact us for further assistance. Kind regards Maurice MangaleCustomer Contact Centre E-mail Unit"
I have called the branch 3 times and every time it costs me R500 as I'm phoning from another country!! Every time I speak to them they said that I need to send an email!!
Can you please have this sorted!
Regards,
Neil
