A STUPID IDEA ON DEPOSITS!

I went to Standard Bank, Marikana branch on the 13th November 2020 and they didn't want me to deposit inside the bank. I fully understood that the bank now wants their clients to deposit at the ATM for any amount less than R10 000.00. The problem now was on that the the ATM wasn't working and I needed to deposit ASAP. I went into the bank and a guy called Kabelo told me he's not allowed to help me deposit and that I should wait for the ATM as they will be fixing it. But he was able to help someone else deposit and they said it's because he had coins. A stupid idea the bank made. Coins or not, a deposit is a deposit and I was treated unfairly because I didn't have coins. It wasn't my fault that the ATM wasn't working, but I was told I would have to pay for the charges since I wanted to deposit. I have been with this bank since forever, but the attitude I was given on that day, I'll never forget it!
