60% discount to settle the prescribe debt

I would like to report to the standard bank regarding my student loan. Firstly, the student loan was approved 2011 for an amount of R45 000.00 in order for me to complete my studies. inception from the date the student loan was granted to date the amount has gone up by almost 60 percent. Whereby the same was taken by my parent on my behalf and the standard bank consultant advised that the account will not occur interest. Moreover, I am of the opinion that the induplum Act was not app**** in terms of the interest rate, in addition to the above, the account was last paid dated 2016 which we were not contacted by the bank. This fall is as a prescription Act and the debt should be written off.
