48 hours later card still not closed

My frustration levels are beyond high, i have been trying to get this mastercard closed for over six days, i have been calling from Friday 25 Sep till today and from Friday i was promised that this credit card will be closed and the charges would be reversed within 48hrs. But as usual nothing has been done, 48hrs has come & gone, no feedback has been given i have been on the phone with the credit card & collections division for over an hour trying to see what the progress is, and it seems nothing was done. i'm getting another promise of another 48 hours. the service level at standard bank is beyond poor, this is the worst bank ever
