22 year old credit card debt???

I app**** for vehicle finance on Monday. It was declined due to a credit card I had 22 years ago. They are looking for the proof that this account was paid up as it is still with the attorneys. Where should I get this now ?!?!?! Meantime I had vehicle finance with them in 2012 until 2017, I have a personal cheque account with a PRIVATE BANKER, and a R45000 overdraft, a business account with R15000 overdraft, a revolving credit account, a fleet account for my business with a R20000 CREDIT limit. ***? I have checked my credit reports on 3 major credit buros and there's nothing listed. Maybe it's time to take my business elsewhere!!!
