2 weeks to reverse a payment to a closed account!

My father gave me R5,000 as a birthday gift but transferred it to my closed Nedbank account instead of my FNB account. <br> <br> My father then phoned them today and they told him it would take 2 weeks!!! <br> <br> This is absolutely ridiculous. it generally takes 2 business days for a payment to go through, by then it should be clear that the account is closed and should take another 2 or so days to reverse it. Standard Bank says it takes 10 business days?!?!?! <br> <br> My dad is a priority client and they were rude to him. I have been telling him for ages move to FNB. I have never had a problem with FNB!!!
