19 MONTHS AND STILL WAITING ON STANDARD TRUST

On the 3rd July 2020 I asked Standard Trust whether there was any money in Sanlam and Momentum policies in an estate they had dealt with. I needed to know because I was winding up the estate of the subsequently deceased widow and could not check with the insurance company directly because i had no authority to do so. On an ongoing basis I made enquiries to no avail. In September 2021 (OVER A YEAR LATER) I was told that they had received the file from archives and that they had written to Sanlam and Metropolitan. I have heard nothing since from either PHILILE SHOBA or JENNY NAIDOO despite further letters to them and futile attempts to call them. I am unable to close my estate until I am absolutely certain that there is or is not anything in those policies. I am appalled at the poor service I have received from Standard Trust.
