<p>I have been banking with STD bank for more than I can remember and I opened a cheque acc which I lost and requested for one again which I received and when I was moving I missed places most of my things. I got paid my salary yesterday into my transaction account and today I get an SMS stating R2700 has been transferred from my transactional account to cheque account without my consent. I called the call center which I had to hold on for 12 minutes for an agent to answer and spoke to Edward who I advised that I need this refunded and his question to me was " What do I need to use this money for?!" The nerve . Than after he advised me to send a motivational letter pleasing STD bank to refund me and I should attach my proof of what I need this money for , so that they can decide if it's appropriate to refund me or not. If I had an overdraft why don't they close my account and send me a statement of what I owe? I'm really disappointed in STD bank and ill closing all of my accounts.</p>
