Urgent resolution needed

I am writing this complaint as a deeply frustrated and disappointed student who has been trying, in vain, to complete my studies due to ongoing delays and mismanagement regarding my supplementary exam applications.

In August 2024, I received the application form to register for my supplementary exams. I completed the form and made the required payment on time. However, I was never scheduled to write the exam throughout the remainder of the 2024 academic year. I waited patiently until December 2024, but no communication came from the institution.

In January 2025, I followed up with the institution and was told I needed to make an additional payment of R640.00 per module, which I promptly paid on 10/01/2025. I waited again with the hope of writing before the end of the first semester registration, so I could register for a full semester if need be. Unfortunately, no exam dates were communicated whatsoever.

I made countless phone calls (charged at standard rates) trying to follow up— which I could hardly afford as an unemployed father of four, striving to obtain formal teaching qualifications to support my family. To make matters worse, the school where I completed my teaching practical wanted to offer me a job, but I couldn’t provide my completed results due to these ongoing delays. I lost an opportunity I had worked very hard for.

In March 2025, I escalated the issue to Dr. Brown senior management), who promised to resolve the matter—but nothing was done. I also spoke with Mr. Kenneth Mahawane, who also made repeated empty promises. Out of desperation, I reached out to a senior lecturer, Mr. Ketho Chonco, who advised me (thankfully) to complete my assessments in case the exams were again delayed. I worked under enormous pressure to complete the course structure on time with his support.

I even visited the Polokwane regional office for help, but their efforts to confirm my exam schedule were fruitless. Eventually, I received a call on 22 May 2025, telling me to write the very next day (23 May 2025)—with only 24 hours to prepare. Additionally, my exam slip reflected only one module, despite being charged for two modules, which shows clearly on my financial statement and January 2025 payments.

I submitted tickets, made calls, and even travelled to Centurion campus in person on 10 August 2025—where I met Mr. Kenneth again. He once more promised to help, but I am still waiting with no resolution.

I did not want to resort to Hello Peter, but after seeing many students in my WhatsApp support group receive help this way, I am left with no other option. All I want is to get my missing results for EVPH 701, resolve the confusion and be given a fair opportunity to complete my qualification which I financed through debts.

Please help.
