Unfair Exam Marking and Disappointing Support

I am extremely disappointed with STADIO's handling of my EDSA172 supplementary exam results and their lack of support. EDSA172 was the exam I felt most confident about—I studied hard, covered all the required topics, and answered every question to the best of my ability. Yet, I received a shocking 37%.

I strongly believe my paper was either marked carelessly or reviewed mechanically. If it had been read thoroughly, it would be clear that I addressed the main ideas and met the requirements.

What makes this worse is the lack of care shown by the lecturers and support team. Lecturers treat us like children when we raise valid concerns and ask questions about marking or processes. It feels as though they are dismissive of our struggles. Additionally, I have been repeatedly referred to Qdesk, but no one responds.

These modules are expensive, and as a working parent supporting a family, this is not just frustrating but devastating. A permanent teaching position I have been working toward is now at risk because of what feels like an unfair and unaccountable system.

I urge STADIO to review my EDSA172 marks, address the issues with lecturer attitudes, and improve their communication and support systems. Students deserve to be treated with respect and fairness, especially given the sacrifices we make to pursue our education.
