I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent handling of my registration In August, I lodged a complaint as it appeared to be the only avenue for a response. My concern centered around the registration for supplementary exams. I received guidance from Sonja Van Tonder, who advised me to complete the registration form, ensuring I selected the supplementary examination option as I had sent the institution my medical records to prove why I couldn’t write exams . Trusting her guidance, I followed her instructions meticulously. However, it has come to my attention that my registration was altered without my consent, placing me in the standard registration category. This oversight has left me in a precarious situation, given my current unemployed status.Regrettably, my attempts to address this matter over the phone have been met with frustration. I spoke with several representatives, including Gloria, who repeatedly ended the call when I requested to speak with Sonja. This lack of communication and accountability is deeply concerning. Considering these circumstances, I must request immediate deregistration for the current semester. I am unable to cover the associated fees, which were not part of our initial agreement. I find it disheartening and ethically questionable that my registration was altered without any prior notice or consent. I believe that a learning institution should prioritize the welfare and academic progress of its students. Regrettably, my experience has left me disillusioned, and I am now considering exploring alternatives where student concerns are treated with the respect and consideration they deserve.I would appreciate prompt attention to this matter.
