TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION AND ADMINISTRATION. DON'T REGISTER HERE!
Terrible institution! Do not register here! I am a part-time second-year student. I paid my registration fee for the 2023 year, and I am due to finish my course this year. It took weeks for me to get a response from Stadio indicating I needed to register for an additional NQF 6 course. Naturally, I was confused because I had never heard of this letter before. This is causing me to lose a whole year and more money than I anticipated. I have proof via an email thread that I never received the conditional acceptance letter, yet no one wants to hear me out or help me. The communication and administration at this place are absolutely dismal. No one gets back to you. You have to follow up over and over again to get a response. I have called every branch and sent so many tickets. UNISA is better than this. In 2022, when I app**** for my course, I never received any feedback from an advisor. I was accepted for the PGCE and asked to send my affidavit and the rest of my forms. I NEVER received a conditional acceptance letter that indicated I needed to do an additional NQF-6 module elsewhere. I reiterated this in my emails, and I never received any response in 2022. All I received was a welcome letter and the five modules I was approved to take last year. There was no mention of the second-year modules at all! I was blissfully unaware of this condition (NQF 6 module). This year, I sent multiple tickets on the new Q-Desk only to receive half-hearted responses that said that I needed to do the other module at another institution. My Bachelor of Social Science Degree is not enough for me to teach social science as a senior-phase subject. I asked for life orientation and was told that was not an option either! However, a colleague of mine with the exact degree and electives took LO for her senior phase subject. In 2021, Stadio also accepted me for LO (this was my first application in 2021, which I never followed through with). Now what must I do? I paid the registration fee, and I can't finish my studies this year! All the other institutions are closed for this year's applications. Most of them don't allow you to do one module there while registered at another institution. Had I known about this last year, I would have taken the additional course. I wouldn't intentionally jeopardize my studies. Stop being money-hungry and actually hire people who want to help the students. I am not a young student who is fresh out of school. I am an experienced working professional, and I don't appreciate this treatment and incompetence when I pay so much for the fees.

Thank you for your response. Can they kindly email me as I work during the day and I am not alway available for calls- ***
I really hope I get resolution from this as I have been waiting for answers for over a month. The last message I recieved from Durban indicated they cannot do more for me and I must just do the extra module at another institution. No other institution is open for applications at this point. I'm not going to take the responsibility for an administration issue.
Thank you,
T.Daniel
